What have i learned so far?
I have learned a lof of things in the past year about photography, but the most valuable lesson for me, is that i have to keep trying. 99% of the pictures i take right now are pictures that goes straight to the recycle bin.
I had a month or two where i took almost none pictures that was worth saving, and it almost made me stop, because of the frustration of not being able to take good photos (or decent photos, i might say - good photos is a long way ahead)

On a more technical side, i've learned that going out of Auto-mode on my camera, have really improved my pictures. Still, they are not good pictures, but at least they are getting better, and that's a good progress for me. And switching from JPEG-format to RAW-format is also a valuable lesson. I know that the pictures takes up alot more space on the memory card, but the ability to do the post-processing afterward is worth it. And speaking of memory cards - a hard lesson learned is: they do break! So i have more memory cards with me all the time now.
I still use my first camera, Canon 750D with a Tamron 18-200mm lense*, and have learned that it can take decent photos, even though it's mid-range, and thats part of my learning - i'd rather learn about composition, lighting, exposure, aperture etc. and being able to do that on my "cheap" camera, and then move on to a more professional camera and lenses after. But thats just me.
On the photograhical side, i've learned that bright sunlight is'nt always the best light to be in, when taking photos. Of course it depends on the scene, but for me, i've learned that very bright sunlight almost all the time gives me overexposed images or at least parts of the images.
I've been told about the golden hour, the time just after sunrise and just before sunset, should be the most optimal time for the lighting (again it depends on the scene) and thats my next goal, so hopefully soon there will be pictures from that time on this site.
* I've upgraded my camera to Canon EOS 5D Mark IV and got me a Canon 70-200mm 2.8L IS II USM and a Sigma 150-600mm F/5,0-6,3 DG OS HSM.
